Manually adding date-tracked credentials to your account
Date-tracked credentials are those licenses, certifications, or registrations (LCRs) that are tracked using their expiration date. For example, Basic Life Support certifications issued by the American Heart Association or an internal certification issued by your organization.
You’re able to add date-tracked credentials (and other licenses) to a provider’s profile in EverCheck. During implementation, your organization and your EverCheck Implementation Specialist mapped out which date-tracked credentials you would like to appear in your account. For this reason, many credentials will be pre-populated in your EverCheck account, but if a specific date-tracked credential isn’t in your account you may add it by following these steps:
After signing into your account at evercheck.com, you’ll see your Dashboard. Click the “Credentialing” application.
Select the “Settings” tab.
Click the button on the bottom of the screen that says “Manage professions.”
Please note: Date-tracked credentials are currently labeled as “Unmonitored Professions” in the system. This language is on the roadmap to be updated.
After clicking “Manage professions,” you’re prompted to select either “Licensed as” or “Certified by.” Select “Licensed as” to add state medical licenses and “Certified by” to add board certifications.
For the purposes of this example, let’s say that our goal is to add a new board certification to our account so that it can then be applied to a provider’s profile.
Select “Certified by.” Type the name of the certifying board that you want to add into the “search” bar and press the “enter/return” button on your keyboard. Proceed to enter the name of the certification. Keep in mind, the name of the board and the name of the certification will be visible to your providers.
Once you’ve entered all of the information, select “Add credential.”
This new certification will now be available within your account.
For adding a state license, you’ll follow steps 1-3 above, but you’ll be prompted to select a state from the drop-down menu. See example below.
